In printing works, steam is well suited until temperatures of approximately 200°C and when the temperature controls are simple. In this case, the heating by
steam generators or fire-tube boilers is recommended.
Nevertheless, one of the advantages with thermal oil is its capacity to control the temperature up to 300°C. This versatility is of primary importance in the cases where accuracy of +/- 1°C, are required in drying processes.
The volatile compounds generated during film coating with adhesives contaminate the exhaust from the manufacturing processes and can be treated by
thermal oxidation ; it is an effective solution when this type of plant is coupled with
heat recovery equipment.
The processes being continuous, high plant availability is required. BABCOCK WANSON offers high availability and
maintenance contracts with 24-hour associated
technical support if selected.
