AUDISTEAM – a new tool for measuring steam production

BABCOCK WANSON has developed a new software package called AUDISTEAM to reduce the cost of steam and to develop the plant best practices. AUDISTEAM is an expertise system that makes it possible to reduce operating costs by 15%. AUDISTEAM carries out a thorough analysis of all the boiler house components : boiler and burner, water treatment system, boiler house equipment, as well as the level of maintenance. Babcock Wanson then provides a detailed report of the results with precise figures and commits itself to offering low cost solutions for improvements.
