 BABCOCK WANSON are launching a new high-efficiency industrial boiler (97% with the Ecosteam pack).

The BWD boiler and its EcosteamŽ pack is a fire tube boiler specifically designed by BABCOCK WANSON and which associates:

- very high efficiency and great operating flexibility
BABCOCK WANSON low NOx burners enable an operating range which, depending on the model, can be between 12 and 100 % (gas versions), and a guaranteed efficiency of 97% over the whole modulating range with the BABCOCK WANSON ECOSTEAM pack.

- never-failing reliability and an increased service life
Its design with a concentric flue gas return chamber and furnace tube ensures optimum distribution of the mechanical stresses, contributing to the long service life of the boiler shell, notably for high load variation cycles.

- easy maintenance thanks to open accessibility
The flue gas return chamber is equipped externally with double partitioning. This BABCOCK WANSON particularity enables direct access to the first banks of tubes without removing the burner, and does away with the fragility problems affecting conventional boiler tie rods.

- compactness
The central furnace tube, the optimized heat flow rate and the distribution of the fire tubes enables a smaller shell size

- an excellent steam quality
Thanks to the steam separator located in the boiler shell under the steam outlet and the rapid burner response time, BWD boilers provide very dry steam, i.e. 99.5% as standard.

Thus, as the BABCOCK WANSON France sales director, Pascal Morawski, commented: "Our customers quickly understood that with the rise in fuel costs, BWD boilers and their EcosteamŽ Pack are unique and provide energy savings of up to 20%. BABCOCK WANSON's creativeness and vitality are a key factor in the development of the company. In this way, with the Audisteam boiler plant auditing tool and the new BW 72H monitoring mode, BABCOCK WANSON has already paved the way for the technological improvement of tomorrow's industrial boilers";

Several BWD models are available, from 1 to 10 tonnes of steam per hour (682 to 6793 kW)
Maximum allowable pressure of 20 bars or more on request *
*variable according to the type of boiler
