Babcock Wanson, the preferred company for heat recovery in cogeneration projects.

The leading position of Babcock Wanson in heat management confirmed in Hungary and Rumania thanks to its local company : CNIM Babcock Central Europe.

The efficiency of a cogeneration plant is linked with the heat recovery equipment. Babcock Wanson using a global approach of the boiler house and steam management is able to reduce the plant operating cost particularly by using its core competencies in feedwater treatment, heat recovery boiler, firetube boiler, low NOx burner, steam distribution network, maintenance...

Recently in collaboration with Greenergy, CNIM Babcock Central Europe have realised the cogeneration plant supplying energy to a pharmaceutical company, with the supply of two heat recovery steam generator producing 22,6 t/h of steam, and also the steam distribution system installed downstream two 5MW Centrax turbine.
Other plants have been realised in collaboration with Turbomeca, as in Rumania with Loial Impex for a plant with eight 1 MWe gas turbines where CNIM Babcock Central Europe engineered and supplied four exhaust gas heat recovery units producing 3,6 MW superheated water each, plus four 11 MW each natural gas fired superheated water boilers for backup and integration.
