Recuperative and integrated recuperative thermal oxidisers

Recuperative type oxidisers are specifically aimed at industrial processes, which require both oxidation of effluents and energy production for processes.

Operating Principle :
following oxidation of the pollutants at high temperature, energy is recovered from the exhaust stream for reuse in the process or elsewhere therefore reducing operating costs.

We offer tailor-made solutions for each specific customer application. Various heat exchange systems may be applied. These either operate with intermediate heat transfer media or are designed for preheating the effluent stream being treated :

• with a recuperative oxidiser, energy is recovered for external consumption ;
• an integrated recuperative oxidiser uses the heat recovered to improve the energy balance of the oxidising process.

These types of thermal oxidiser are mainly suitable for high VOC concentrations and lower flow rates.
