The Ecosteam® pack

The Ecosteam® pack from BABCOCK WANSON allows the optimisation of the energy production to reach efficiencies in excess of 97% over the operating range of the boiler.

• Exhaust gas economisers :
  Applied with natural gas (by-pass for heavy oil). Gain in efficiency of 5 to 6 %.



• Preheating feed water :
  increases boiler efficiency to 96%.



• Exhaust gas/water/combustion air :
  applicable to specific processes and large steam systems. The principle is to heat the combustion air.



• Variable speed drive for the combustion fan :
  reduced maintenance costs and electricity consumption with overall plant efficiency improved.



• Zero flash condensate recovery :
  reduces thermal losses by introducing returned condensate directly into the boiler thereby saving flash losses and substantially improving overall plant efficiency.
