In printing works, steam is well suited until temperatures of approximately 200 °C and when the temperature controls are simple. In this case heating by steam generators or fire tube boilers can be suitable.
Careful consideration must also be given to the advantages of thermal oil with its capacity to provide controllable temperatures up to 350 °C. This versatility is of primary importance in the cases where accuracy of +/- 1 °C are required in drying processes.
The volatile compounds generated during film coating with adhesives contaminate the exhaust from the manufacturing processes and can be treated by thermal oxidation ; it is an effective solution when this type of plant is combined with heat recovery equipment.
With continuous process demand, high plant availability is required. BABCOCK WANSON offers high availability and maintenance contracts with 24-hour associated technical support if required.
