- Update of the automation and operating modes: The automation and operating controls of industrial boilers have developed a lot over recent years. Babcock Wanson is able to undertake an upgrade of existing boilers and equip them with less restrictive operating controls. Starting with an inventory of the boiler house, a detailed analysis of current controls and operation will lead to a costed proposal for upgrade works (PLC upgrades, sensor updates, fitting of high integrity and SIL rated controls and many other improvements)
