The combustion chamber is designed for low thermal load and has a large heat exchange surface resulting in a high thermal efficiency of up to 92%. The heat exchange design also results in optimal fluid side pressure drop, thereby reducing the circulating pump power demand which is important to optimise for high flow systems

• The Babcock Wanson burner is robust and well proven and has been designed in parallel with the design of the combustion chamber and exhaust gas passes. With high efficiency in operation, this optimal design results in an extended operational life.
